Pride and Prejudice -- Straight Play
Monarch Theatre Company’s third show was Pride and Prejudice. I was given the opportunity to perform as Mr. Bingley, an energetic, gentle young man who falls in love with Miss Jane Bennett, an event that ignites the events of the story.
Monarch Theatre Company’s third production was Pride and Prejudice. In this performance, I was cast as Mr. Bingley, who, in this scene, energetically attempts to convince his friend, Mr. Darcy, to consider dancing with a lovely lady named Elizabeth Bennett.
Throughout Monarch Theatre Company’s Pride and Prejudice, I, as Mr. Bingley, try to position myself as close to Jane Bennett as possible in hopes of making her my wife someday.
In a confounding argument between Mr. Bingley and his sister, Miss Bingley, I ponder the effects of my falling in love with Jane Bennett. This scene comes from Monarch Theatre Company’s performance of Pride and Prejudice.
I was cast as Mr. Bingley in Monarch Theatre Company’s Pride and Prejudice. Burning with passion, I eloquently debate with Miss Bingley concerning current affairs in the community, specifically the Bennett family and their effects on the Bingleys and Darcys.
I was given the opportunity to perform as Mr. Bingley in Monarch Theatre Company’s Pride and Prejudice. Finally gathering enough courage (and with a little help from Mr. Darcy), I propose to Jane Bennett. The response is an exuberant yes!
