Human video, Monarch Theatre Company, 2021

Monarch Theatre Company had many workshops open to members of the company. These classes were designed for students to be able to learn and grow new skills. In this class, we learned and performed a “human video,” a performance which consists almost entirely of choreography with minimal dialogue. This performance was about seven minutes long but took four hours to learn. This performance is called “One Choice,” in which my character, Cobe, has to choose whether to get drunk at a party or have self-control.
